After breakfast at the lodge, you will meet and greet with Tanz-Africa Adventures guide. You will have a short safari briefing session, then with picnic lunch drive Arusha National Park.
In this 1 day tour, you will spend the day exploring the dramatic Arusha National Park The park is small but varied with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas.
In the west, the Meru Crater funnels the Jekukumia River with the peak of Mt Meru lying on its rim. Ngurdoto Crater in the southeast is grassland. The Momella Lakes in the northeast have varying algae colors and are known for their wading birds.
Your day trip will include a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater. Despite the small size of the park, common animals include; Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as enjoy the colorful birdlife with trogon, turaco and flamingo among the many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed.
The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress.
After picnic lunch enjoy the rest of your time for game drive and late afternoon drive to the lodge your Place,
